What does the clinic training involve?
The clinic training includes individual sessions with a BrainPort trained therapist. You will learn how to use the BrainPort device and progress through a series of balance challenges while using the BrainPort device. The training is typically completed in a standing position, with your eyes closed. Each training session is about 30 to 60 minutes in length. Typically 4-6 hours of training are required over a period of 2-3 consecutive days.
Do I need to use the BrainPort device 24 hours a day?
You will receive instructions for home use during clinic training. Typically, the recommended use is 2-20 minute sessions each day.
